Lately, I have been on the hunt for something to go at the end of our sectional as a side table. Normal side tables don’t work because they aren’t tall enough for my high backed sectional. I started looking at bar carts as a solution, and that got me thinking about all the different uses for a bar cart.
So, let’s dive in on 6 ways to use a bar cart, that don’t involve cocktails.
Coffee Station- A bar cart makes a perfect cart for all your coffee needs. You could keep this in the kitchen, your bedroom, a guest room, or you could even roll the cart out for a brunch as an easy coffee serving area.
Guest Room Essentials- If you read my post on creating a cozy guest room, you saw this cart used to keep all guest essentials handy. It also makes it easy to wheel in and out as needed.
Party Cart- A bar cart would make a great entertaining cart. You could corral all your party supplies such as paper goods, serving utensils, and party favors and take them outdoors or poolside.
Bathroom Spa Cart– Stash bath linens, soaps, books and a candle on a cart to create a mobile spa station.
Office/Crafts- A bar cart would make a great way to store craft or office supplies and is easy to roll up to a desk or table to have supplies conveniently at hand.
Nightstand/Bed Side Table– Consider using as a nightstand for books, a lamp and bedside necessities.
Want a few more ideas? Try using a bar cart for a plant stand, a rolling breakfast caddy to serve breakfast in bed, or as a bookshelf. You can also use outdoors for a potting station or to store towels, sunscreen and other pool essentials. Bar carts really are so versatile, so don’t be afraid to think outside of the box!
Let’s take a look at some of the bar carts I came across. There are so many different sizes, shapes and finishes available but here are some of my faves.
