So many things have changed lately and Easter will definitely be different this year. Regardless of where we are celebrating, we can still focus on what Easter really means and enjoy the time with our loved ones. We are planning on watching our church service on TV and having everyone get cleaned up for lunch and pictures. If the weather is good, we will swim and enjoy the outdoors. If not, my backup plan will be family games and a movie or some binge-worthy shows (aka every other day here LOL).
If you still need ideas for Easter baskets, you can see my post here. For a springy table, cut some fresh flowers or greenery from the yard. Use pastel or bright colored dishes if you have them or break out the china. You’ve got time to hand wash those dishes afterwards.
Try one of these easy table decor ideas to make your lunch or dinner feel more festive.
My kids are older, 16 and almost 13, so they don’t need entertaining like younger kids do… but if you have younger kids and want to have a few fun activities, try one of these! I tried to round up crafts using supplies most people have around the house.
As for the food, have you thought about what you’re serving? I am still trying to decide what we will be eating. In past years, we have done everything from baked ham with traditional southern sides to a casual crawfish luncheon. I will have to let the peanut gallery weigh in and see what we come up with 😉 For some fun Easter snacks and food ideas, check out my Pinterest board.
Even though this won’t be a traditional Easter, I hope you have a fun day celebrating and wish you and yours a very happy Easter!
